Tidy, tidy

I was in the children's bit of the library earlier and a woman who worked there (I had to think what someone in a library would be called as it just went right out of my head.) A librarian came over to where I was sitting and put paper and pens away...

Bearing in mind it was half 3 so more children would be more than likely to come in, I thought it seemed a bit pointless to tidy the children's table.

2 minutes later a child came and emptied everything back out again across the table. The child walked away and the librarian tidied it all up again. She was so quick I couldn't get a picture.

I fought the urge to put the paper and pens all over the table again and see what the librarian would do, I figured that would be childish.

So I took 1 pen out and waited.....

The librarian buzzed around the table like a bee at a BBQ but she did not touch the pen. I could see her glaring at me and the pen and I had to stop myself from laughing. I know I'm a child but I was sitting at the child's table and I was helping a woman get over her OCD.

I got my comeuppance when I had to read this story to Scarlett 5 times before she went to bed...

She informed me I wasn't reading it correctly so I had to read it until I got it right.

With getting things right in mind, am I the only one that thinks this is wrong...

Apparently it is a pen and it includes batteries. I wonder what would happen if I put that on the children's table at the library...?
