Did anyone notice the rain today?
Instead of sitting in watching crap TV all day, I dragged Scarlett out into the rain to watch the carnival on the seafront.
Such a shame for the rain but we had fun clapping and cheering the brave souls that were taking part. I say we but I'm not sure if Scarlett was amused.
It may have been due to the fact that I didn't win her the notepad she wanted in the arcade. I felt like such a child screaming "come on!" to a notepad stuck in a 2p machine, but there is something so addictive about trying to win a toy and spending £10 on something worth 10p.
I did accep defeat in the end and hope whoever wins it in the end appreciates the effort I made to getting it to this point...
"I don't like it."
She came across a half empty box of chocolates under the TV unit and asked
"What are the round bits not in chocolate?"
Me: "erm nuts. I didn't want to waste the chocolate but I don't like nuts so I took the nuts out of the chocolate."
Yes I am going to hang my head in shame, and cider vinegar.
Yes I am now not only putting it on my face but on my hair as it's supposed to make it shiny..... I'll let you know how it goes. I don't think Scarlett approves.
