So this is yesterday's and today's blog as I thought I had uploaded it but obviously as I am so good with technology it failed to upload.
I saw a poster for a stunt show and thought yeah I am going to take Scarlett and were going to have an adventure. My spur of the moment ideas are usually not great and cause more hassle than they are worth.
I called the hotline and before I had even spoken with a human I was listening to an automated message for 2 minutes. They got 10p out of me before I had even done anything! I hung up when it said tickets will be sent to your billing address and I was sick of listening to the shrilly automated voice.
I couldn't book tickets online and on the map it looked about a million miles from the train station. If I could drive it wouldn't have been a problem. I could have driven to the place to see if there were any tickets and if not drive home. As I can't drive the adventure turned into a walk into town (where Scarlett caused a commotion and dropped all of the pens I told her not to bring. Why does she never listen?!) dinner at Maccy D's and a go on a few rides at the fair on the seafront.
Don't judge me for my dinner choice, I had a quarter pounder meal but I had water instead of coke. Water drowns fat, everyone knows that.
It was quite hilarious seeing a bouncer in McDonald's at 6pm on a Friday, Scarlett asked what he was doing, I said I'm honestly not sure and I gave him a smile cleaned our table and left.
Just as we were leaving our spotlessly clean table I hear a man say
"Christmas is 16 weeks"
Ahhhhhh!! Really, I'm going to have to start shopping soon, I'm not going to leave it till Christmas Eve like usual, I'm not! Ok I probably am.
On the way to the fair I said to Scarlett
"I Need to get cash out"
Scarlett: "You need to get lots and lots of cash out!"
I must tell her the story about the Money tree and the fact that we don't have one.
The fair was fun though, Scarlett even got a free go on a bouncy castle (I'm training her well!)
Nothing much to report today, I literally haven't been out of the flat, not even to the garden. It's a snuggle day with food, food and the Frozen DVD. Pure bliss. Yes Frozen is growing on me, growing like a bit of mould. No sorry growing like, like a flower.
Got to dash, I need to decide what takeaway were having tonight :)
